Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing or using the BrightLoop Local mobile app (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.
About BrightLoop Local
BrightLoop Local is a local-first discovery app that helps users explore local businesses, special offers, community events and other local information. We may update or improve the App at any time.
User Accounts
- You must provide accurate account information.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You agree not to share your account or impersonate another person.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used fraudulently.
The App may be used without creating an account for browsing public content. Certain features such as saving favorites, rating businesses, managing submissions or accessing personalized content may require a registered account.
Use of the App
You agree not to misuse the App or interfere with its operation. Prohibited actions include attempting to access another user’s account, uploading harmful or inappropriate content, or disrupting the App’s performance.
If you submit ratings or other content, you agree that your submissions are truthful, lawful and not misleading. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms.
Business Listings, Offers & Events
The App displays information provided by local businesses, community sources or other publicly available information. While we aim to maintain accuracy, we do not guarantee:
- The accuracy of business listings or event details
- The availability of special offers or promotions
- That events will not be changed, cancelled or updated by providers
- That food truck locations or other time-sensitive information will always be current
Businesses and other content providers are responsible for the information they supply.
Third-Party Links
The App may contain links to external websites or services. We are not responsible for third-party content, privacy practices or service availability. Use external links at your discretion.
Intellectual Property
The App, its design, branding and related materials are owned by BrightLoop Media or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, sell or distribute any part of the App without written permission.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free functionality or the accuracy of displayed information.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BrightLoop Media is not liable for damages arising from or related to your use of the App, including inaccuracies, outages or data loss. Some jurisdictions may grant additional consumer rights.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the App at our discretion, including for violations of these Terms or suspected fraudulent activity.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last Updated” date reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
